This is a 3 panel mosaic of the waxing crescent moon taken with my recently restored vintage 1978 Celestron C14 in its stock configuration. Taking the source images was pretty straight forward. I set the focus using Spica and a homemade 16” Bahtinov mask, framed each panel using the live view within Backyard EOS, and then acquired a 64 image set for each field. Easy peasy.
