Meade Mak 7 – Lunar Test Images

Telescope: Meade LX50 Mak 7 at f/30 (2” 2x ED Barlow), Orion Atlas EQ-G
Camera: ZWO AS224MC, Meade Luminance Filter (IR blocking)
Sensor: Gain: 300, Gamma: 50
Exposure: 7,500 (out of 10,000)x0.005sec, saved as AVI
Seeing: Fair
White Balance: Nebulosity Automatic
Software: Firecatpture, Firecatpture Debayer, Registax, Photoshop

These are from my first attempt at using my Meade Mak 7 for high resolution imaging. The seeing wasn’t nearly as good as forecast so it was a bit rough going, but the initial results are encouraging.
