I stepped outside this morning to cover my gear when I noticed the moon rising out of the clouds passing along the eastern horizon. I waited about an hour for it to rise above the trees and grabbed a quick set of source images. The air was heavy with moisture and while the transparency was very poor, the seeing was pretty good.

It’s not often that I get the watch the sun set over Copernicus.
