It’s that time of year, Meteor Shower time!

The Perseid Meteor shower will peak on August 11th to 12th again this year!!!

Despite being in the city of Dayton, Ohio, some passing clouds, & nearly Full Moonlight, I’m already seeing some bright fireballs lighting up the night sky!

Fortunately when the Perseid shower peaks on the 11th of August 2012 and the moon will not rise until early am. A good year to watch!

My Meteor Video Camera Network is catching some really bright ones! I captured 8 meteors last night, but I’ll keep looking as it is about to get better!!!

Here are a couple of really nice ones, -4 to -8 Fireball Meteors! Definitely Brighter than Venus!!!

I'll post a video later, showing some burning up.
