Dumbbell at JB
The sky was clear and the weather nice, so I couldn't resist going to JB Monday. Got there in time to see the great ISS pass-over at 9:45. The moon was up and the MilkyWay was not really visible, but I had a great time observing. It was actually nice to be alone - I had the video camera going and I could let the video monitor shine at full intensity without bothering anyone.
One of objects observed was M27. Here is an image of the Dumbbell that I captured from the video feed.
