Yep, Registax is a very powerful tool, but it can be a tad tricky. I try to go as easy as I can with it to avoid over-sharpening.

Have fun!

If 50 years of amateur astronomy and space exploration has taught me anything it is that the Earth is a very special place. It would be nice to protect it like it’s the only Earth we’re ever going to have.

Hi Kieth,

Good job!

Yep, used them for years...you should try it on your HA & white light Solar shots as well!
Wavelets are a very good tool, but can easily be over applied...so be careful not to push it too much!

But if the image is close to sharp to begin with, it can be carefully applied to become exceptionally sharp!

You should always apply them as a Bell Curve....1 thru 5 with the peak at 3. This keep the artifacts and noise down too! Usually with our seeing here in the Midwest, no more than 30% at the Peak.

Any way you are getting better at your processing, keep it coming!

Best Regards,
John Chumack
