NGC2359 Thor's Helmet - Wolf-Rayet Star
Here is Thor's Helmet Shot from JBSPO last night 03-06-10, finally, we got a string of nice clear nights.
Thor's Helmet or NGC2359
Known as a Wolf-Rayet star, the central star is an extremely hot giant thought to be in a brief pre-supernova stage of evolution.
This is a 60 minute exposure with my QHY8 single shot color CCD + 16" scope,
