NGC-6781 Planetary Nebula in Aquila

Hi All,

NGC-6781 Planetary Nebula in Aquila,

Nice ghostly shell or bubble to the eye...central star is barely visible & blue,
reminds me of M57 central star..just dimmer.

30 minutes QHY8 CCD & 16" scope

Wow, that's so cool looking.

Wow, that's so cool looking. I love these little planetaries, some of them are so bright they're actually tough to image without saturating them and still go deep in the background.

Nest stuff.

If 50 years of amateur astronomy and space exploration has taught me anything it is that the Earth is a very special place. It would be nice to protect it like it’s the only Earth we’re ever going to have.
